2SQTBIPOC Storytelling: ReFraming Histories
Join us for a film series showcasing intergenerational stories of 2-Spirit, Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (2SQTBIPOC). For our second session, we will be screening two films at Paradise Cinema located at 1006 Bloor:

The first film "La Bruja de Texcoco" (2019) is a short film directed by Cecilia Villaverde and Alejandro Paredes.

Our second screening will be of “Toll" (2023) a feature film directed by Carolina Markowicz.

Our series of screenings will feature documentaries, shorts, and films as well as community discussions on storytelling and reclaiming representation in media and art. This is part of the 519's "Each Other's Magnitude" a 2SQTBIPOC Intergenerational Storytelling initiative.
