In this session, we'll explore the history of supporting 2SLGBTQ+ Latine communities in Toronto and at The 519. We want to hear from you to help shape this project and develop programming for the next two years that meets the needs of our communities.
Key Focus Areas:
• Identifying gaps in current services for 2SLGBTQ+ Latine people in Toronto.
• Understanding challenges like social isolation, limited resources, and funding for Latine communities.
• Designing programs to improve health, advocacy, well-being, and social engagement.
• Archiving the stories and histories of Latine 2SLGBTQ+ community members, with a focus on intersectionality and intergenerational trans/queer experiences.
• Brainstorming future programs and initiatives to address these gaps.
This consultation is part of our efforts to ensure that we create services that are community-driven and grounded in the experiences of Latine people.
