The AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project aims to both honour and document the stories of those commemorated at the memorial located at Barbara Hall Park in Toronto. We’ll be exploring its history, adding names that have been missed and underrepresented, all while creating opportunities for sharing and archiving these vital stories. Folks are encouraged to bring letters, mementos, photos or anything to honour the memory of their loved ones.
The AIDS Memorial Storytelling Project is creating an installation that will weave together the stories of those memorialized at Barbara Hall Park in various formats, such as audio, visual, and other artistic forms, creating a digital archive and interactive experiences where stories will be shared.Visit our website, memorial and add your stories here!
