  • Hi, I’m Zwena Gray (she/they) a Black adventurer, community cultivator, and teller of stories lived on trails and carried in bodies. I move through the world with a deep love for land, for kin, and for the quiet and loud ways we survive and bloom.

Queer Ecology, to me, is not just about nature, it’s a space to explore connection: to ourselves, to each other, and to the land. It's the throughline that reveals the intricate, often-overlooked relationships between culture, art, spirit, and ways of being, ones western frameworks tend to ignore. My work holds space for those threads to be felt, remembered, and reimagined.

Through Queer Ecology Hikes, I invite others to root in story, to rest in complexity, and to dream new worlds into being — together.

Each Other's Magnitude is thrilled to continue to collaborate with Zwena, who will lead a fall queer ecology hike. We will be going to hiking trail location in the West End. If you have any access requests for transportation, please reach out to us at JDeVittoris@The519.org.
