• Trans Youth Mentorship Program Summer/Fall 2026 Cohort

Program will run from July to November 2026
  • This innovative cohort of the Trans Youth Mentorship Program (TYMP) will focus on leveraging your lived experience to prepare you to develop your advocacy and leadership skills and find out more about working within the community and social services field. You will have the opportunity to learn and network with trans and queer professionals and explore career pathways in the community and social services sector.

This program is ideal for you if you are a young 2-Spirit, trans and/or non-binary person who has an affinity for advocacy, individual support, and community organizing and would like to explore how your skills and interests could translate into a career. Our curriculum will offer a mix of pre-employment readiness sessions, such as resume writing and interviewing tailored for community work, sessions on self-advocacy and communication skills, harm reduction, event planning, and facilitation/public speaking.
