Join us for a series of creative storytelling gatherings celebrating 50 years of The 519. Led by guest facilitators from across our community, these intimate sessions invite participants to explore memories, connection, belonging, and the impact of The 519 through conversation, creative activities, and archival materials. Together, we'll reflect on personal and collective histories while contributing to a growing community story of The 519's past, present, and future
Dates:
- Thursdays September 24 and October 1st from 5 to 7pm
- We Will offer 1 on 1 recording sessions during our regular Art Corner: Art Therapy Sessions.
- Wednesday October 7 from 5:30 to 8:00pm
- This Session will be led by Zwena Gray, lead of Queer Ecology.
Z will use prompts to guide conversation around belonging, community gathering and we will make zines with archival material
During the session, we’ll have private rooms where you can share your stories and record them for our Story Gathering Initiative.
