TDoR Performer Application

Apply here to be part of Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR) 2026 at The 519 on Friday, November 20, 2026. We are currently seeking speakers, dancers, artists, singers, and performers of all kinds to support our TDoR ceremony and vigil.

The theme for The 519's TDoR event this year is 50 years of fierce love and solidarity. As we celebrate The 519's anniversary, this year's TDoR is dedicated to the foundational, inseparable, and pivotal role that trans lives have played in shaping who we are as a community and community centre today. The last half-century was far from easy for us, but together, we have somehow found a way navigate the social inequities that continue to keep us down - sometimes with grace, sometimes with messiness - but always in the spirit of fierce love and solidarity.

Deadlines & Important Dates:

This year TDoR is happening on the evening of Friday, November 20 at at The 519 [519 Church St.]. The ceremony will take place entirely indoors.

The final date to send your application through this form is Sunday, November 1, 2026, 11:59 pm. An honorarium of $150 per performance/submission will be provided for for selected performers and speakers.

Dinner and TTC fare will be provided for selected performers and speakers at the event.

Due to limited time and resources, we cannot guarantee that every applicant will be able to perform during TDoR. Prioirty is given to first-time applicants and to those whose performace/speech aligns most closely with this year's theme. Selections are made by The 519's internal TDoR Committee.
